NARRU
“Narru” was the nickname of our chef’s greatfather, who was a professional player of the Basque sport “pala”. The word Narru comes from “larrua” that means leather in Basque language and it is also the material used to cover the balls that are used in this sport. Some references of this have been used all along our space through the colours, the inspiration of the uniforms of our team and the materials of the furniture: references of our traditions.

PRODUcT
Narru pays tribute to seasonal products and kitchen market. The fact that we aim to establish a direct connection with local producers strongly suggests that it provides us the possibility to know first hand the origin and benefits of all of the products we use.
Taste our dishes and they will make you feel like back in time, part of your own story.

LOCATION
Our restaurant is located in the heart of San Sebastian, in the ground floor of the Arbaso hotel and facing the cathedral of the Good Shepherd. An exceptional location to enjoy the architecture and culture of the romantic area of the city.
As a result of mixing Basque culinary tradition with new innovative touches, we propose a unique gastronomic experience: at Narru you are welcome to discover the essence of the Basque cuisine in an outstanding environment.
